We are all saddened by the loss of our Meshulem A"H, beloved son of R' Yisroel and Rivki Jungreis, grandson and namesake of our revered
Rav Meshulem Halevi Jungreis zt’l.
To have spent a moment with Meshulem was to love him. Blessed with a unique ability to connect to people, Meshulem's love for Torah was matched only by his desire to spread its light to all who crossed his path. From the youngest of ages, Meshulem began teaching children and adults alike, following in the footsteps of our Rebbetzin A”H by reaching out to those in need and bringing them closer to Torah. His own light and love, his open heart, and his caring words endeared him to all those who were privileged to have known him. Meshulem’s ability to lift spirits and help to change peoples’ lives have inspired us to do more.
The loss of our beloved Meshulem has left a gaping hole in Klal Yisrael, and as such, we are looking to continue what Meshulem started in this world by further spreading his acts of Chessed (loving kindness), love for Torah and the Jewish people. Therefore, we will be dedicating a kollel in his blessed memory as well as creating a number of learning and mentoring initiatives to reach out to young and old in need. Further ideas in motion include regular chavrusa and kollel learning, shabbosim focused on family kiruv (outreach), youth in need, and mentorship programs.
The Jungreis family has decided to perpetuate Meshulem’s legacy, and keep his neshama alive by establishing:
